By using Broke: Claim Your Cash ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. What Broke Does

Broke is an informational tool that helps you discover government benefits, tax credits, and financial programs you may be eligible for. Our AI agent assists with application preparation, document drafting, and form guidance.

2. What Broke Does NOT Do

We are NOT the government. We are a private technology company.
We are NOT financial advisors, tax professionals, or attorneys.
We do NOT determine your eligibility. Government agencies make all eligibility decisions.
We do NOT submit applications on your behalf. You must submit all forms yourself.
We do NOT guarantee any specific dollar amount or approval.
We do NOT provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Consult a professional for specific guidance.

3. Eligibility Estimates

Dollar amounts shown in the app are estimates based on publicly available federal and state program thresholds. Actual eligibility and benefit amounts are determined solely by the relevant government agency. Estimates may be higher or lower than actual amounts.

4. AI Agent

The AI agent uses artificial intelligence to generate documents, form answers, and guidance. AI-generated content should be reviewed before use. We are not responsible for errors in AI-generated content. Documents generated by the AI agent (demand letters, appeal letters, etc.) are templates and may require modification for your specific situation.

5. Payment

Broke offers a one-time in-app purchase for lifetime access. Payment is processed through Apple's App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. We do not process payments directly.

6. Account and Data

Your account is created anonymously. You can delete all your data at any time through Settings. See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and storage.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the app to commit fraud or file false claims
Provide false information to government agencies using our tools
Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app
Use the app for any illegal purpose

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ELIGIBILITY ESTIMATES, AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR ANY OTHER INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE APP.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BROKE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DENIED APPLICATIONS, INCORRECT ESTIMATES, OR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
